Capital Securities Business & Economics Unit provides the market intelligence and sectoral analysis that underpins our investment strategies. We continually monitor key economic indicators and carry out bespoke research and feasibility studies to inform our investment strategies.

As well as providing in-house economic research to support other areas of our business, we produce a quarterly business and economic bulletin, Compass, for our private clients.

The Midlands Gateway Economic Index is a key output of the business and economics unit which monitors and supports the Midlands Gateway initiative. The Index focuses on the business drivers that will enable the development of the Athlone/ Tullamore/ Mullingar region as a gateway under which the towns involved work in partnership to promote economic and social development. The Index is unique in both a national and regional context.
